We're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, leading by example, and helping run the day-to-day operations of a busy, locally owned business. You'll work directly with the Store Manager and help lead our team, maintain high customer-service and operating standards, and grow our shipping, printing, mailbox and business-service offerings. When the Store Manager isn't present, you'll serve as the lead team member in the store. What You'll Do Deliver exceptional customer service across shipping, packing, Amazon returns, printing, mailbox services, notary and other business services. Help customers evaluate their packing and shipping needs, recommend appropriate service options, and prepare and process shipments accurately. Pack customer items for safe shipment, including selecting appropriate boxes, cushioning and packing materials. Help supervise, coach and support store employees. Serve as the lead team member when the Store Manager is unavailable. Assist with employee scheduling, onboarding and training. Make sure operating procedures, training requirements and daily checklists are consistently followed. Handle opening and closing procedures, including POS reconciliation and cash balancing. Maintain a clean, organized and professional store environment. Monitor inventory and operating supplies. Help manage customer emails, requests and service issues. Promote mailbox services, printing, packing solutions and premium shipping options. Monitor mailbox renewals and help grow recurring mailbox revenue. Identify opportunities to grow print and business-service sales. Assist customers with printing, finishing, binding, laminating and wide-format print projects. What We're Looking For Able to safely lift and move packages weighing 40+ pounds and remain active throughout the workday. Previous retail, banking, hospitality, shipping or customer-service experience. Prior supervisory or management experience preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Dependable, proactive and comfortable taking responsibility. Able to work independently and make good decisions when the Store Manager isn't present. Printing, shipping or small-business-service experience is a plus, but we'll train the right person.
