This position provides frontline leadership to retail associates, upholds company policies and standards, and fosters a culture of exceptional customer service. The Dispensary Supervisor ensures operational accuracy, maintains inventory integrity, and acts as the designated shift leader in the absence of store management. Duties Provide leadership and guidance to retail staff, ensuring compliance, operational efficiency, and superior customer service. Oversee daily dispensary functions during assigned shifts, including sales, inventory management, and customer interactions. Enforce all regulatory requirements, company policies, and security protocols. Assist with inventory control by monitoring stock levels, verifying deliveries, and ensuring accurate recordkeeping. Ensure accuracy and accountability in cash handling, POS transactions, and customer order fulfillment. Conduct opening and closing procedures, including daily reconciliation and end-of-shift reporting. Support staff training, onboarding, and professional development in partnership with management. Serve as a knowledgeable resource for customers and staff regarding cannabis products, strains, and methods of consumption. Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant retail environment. Address customer inquiries, concerns, or complaints promptly and professionally. Report operational, compliance, or safety issues to management in a timely manner. Required Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age. High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education preferred. Minimum two (2) years of supervisory or management experience in a retail environment; cannabis industry experience required. Demonstrated knowledge of cannabis products and industry regulations. Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and hold staff accountable. Proficiency with POS systems, inventory software, and standard computer applications. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong cash-handling and retail math skills. Ability to maintain professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality at all times. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move for extended periods during shifts. Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Manual dexterity to handle products and operate point-of-sale systems. Visual acuity sufficient for reading, product inspection, and inventory accuracy.
