Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager to lead our retail operations with enthusiasm and strategic vision. Responsibilities Lead and motivate the retail team to achieve sales targets, deliver outstanding customer service, and uphold company standards. Oversee daily store operations including inventory management, merchandising, pricing strategies, and POS (Point of Sale) systems. Manage employee recruitment, onboarding, training & development, and performance evaluations to build a skilled and motivated workforce. Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling, and ensure accurate financial record-keeping aligned with company policies. Supervise inventory control, stock replenishment, purchasing decisions, and ensure optimal stock levels to meet customer demand. Implement effective management of shift schedules, store opening/closing procedures, and operational workflows for maximum efficiency. Utilize strong negotiation skills to maintain vendor relationships and secure favorable purchasing agreements. Maintain excellent communication with staff through managerial communication skills and foster a collaborative team environment. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, store policies, and legal requirements across all operational aspects. Qualifications Proven management experience in retail industry sales teams or store management roles with supervising responsibilities. Demonstrated proficiency in retail math including pricing, sales management, budgeting, and basic financial analysis. Strong leadership skills with experience in training & development, team management, and employee orientation. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Experience with POS systems, inventory management software, cashiering procedures, and operational management tools. Exceptional communication skills including phone etiquette and managerial communication techniques. Knowledge of retail store product lines and merchandising strategies to optimize sales opportunities. Prior assistant manager or supervisory experience in retail settings is preferred; familiarity with retail industry sales processes is essential.
