Job Description The DC Shop Supervisor supervises repairs/inspections of equipment according to department policies and applicable laws. This position supervises assigned technicians work assignments, and performs technical inspections, operational procedures, technical training, and safety operations/procedures for the shop. Responsibilities Plan, assign, direct, and appraise work. Address equipment complaints and resolve problems. Maintain a positive attitude in a highly intense environment. Work in a team setting to accomplish department goals. Manage shop operations in compliance with the applicable unionized labor agreement(s). Other duties and projects, as assigned.
Requirements Education:
Associate's Degree, preferred
Experience:
Experience and/or training in equipment maintenance, preferred Leadership experience preferred.
Computer Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, required

Compensation:
This is a salary position paid biweekly. Variable compensation is included. In accordance with the Illinois Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the starting pay for this position ranges between $64,000.00 and $74,000.00 annually but will be negotiated at the time of offer DOE.
