Forged Auto Group operates five Meineke Car Care Centers, and we're building teams of people who take pride in what they do. This isn't the right shop for someone looking to stand around waiting for the day to end. Our shops stay busy, and we expect everyone—from the front counter to the technicians in the bays—to contribute. This is NOT an entry-level management position. Do not apply if you've never managed an Automotive Shop. What You'll Be Doing This isn't a sit-in-the-office-and-watch-the-clock kind of job. We're looking for someone who likes being involved, leading a team, talking to customers, and keeping the shop moving. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the store—but more importantly, you'll be responsible for building a team that performs and a shop customers want to come back to.

A typical day might include:

Leading your team and keeping everyone moving in the same direction Taking care of customers and making sure they have a great experience Driving sales and helping your team hit their goals Keeping an eye on car count, ARO, close rate, gross profit and overall shop performance Coaching service advisors and technicians—not just pointing out what's wrong Hiring, training and developing good people Keeping parts, inventory and expenses under control Handling schedules, opening/closing and the normal day-to-day stuff that comes with running a shop Jumping in when things get busy instead of watching everyone else drown Solving problems before they turn into bigger problems Keeping the shop clean, organized, safe and professional Celebrating wins, fixing what's not working, and coming back tomorrow ready to do it again We don't expect perfection.
