Tom O'Brien Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM in Greenwood is looking for an organized, dependable, and motivated individual to join our Service Department as a Shop Supervisor/Coordinator for our busy automotive dealership. This position plays a key role in keeping the shop running efficiently by coordinating communication and workflow between service advisors, technicians, management, and customers. The ideal candidate is someone who can think ahead, prioritize competing demands, communicate clearly, and keep things moving when priorities change. This is a growth-oriented position with a clear path toward Assistant Shop Manager and, ultimately, increased management responsibility within the Service Department. Job Responsibilities Serve as a liaison for the Service Department, facilitating clear communication between management, service advisors, customers, and technicians. Support an organized, efficient, and customer-focused Service Department Coordinate and organize the daily workflow of the Service Department to ensure work is completed efficiently and according to priority. Dispatch work to technicians based on customer needs, availability of required parts, and technician workload and skill level. Work closely with Service Advisors to understand customer expectations, deadlines, and job requirements. Monitor workflow throughout the day and adjust assignments as priorities, technician availability, or parts availability change. Maintain communication between the service office and shop to keep jobs moving and minimize delays. Identify potential scheduling or workflow issues and communicate them to management and the appropriate team members.
