Manages operations and activities of store and staff; executes company policies, procedures, and programs to meet or exceed sales and gross margin goals.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinates all store activities in a manner that maximizes sales, profits, and customer satisfaction. Supervises the interviewing, selection, hiring, and training of all associates. Maintains a high level of customer service by ensuring that service standards are high and that complaints from customers are quickly resolved. Supervises freight process to ensure compliance to company guidelines and productivity standards. Maintains interior and exterior store standards; ensures merchandise presentation is in accordance with company direction. Implements safety and shrink best practices. Manages and supervises office functions, payroll, and controllable expenses. Develops and implements creative plans to increase store sales and decrease loss. Maintains communication with district/regional managers to stay abreast of company initiatives. Provides human resource management, including but not limited to staffing plans, performance evaluations, and training and development. Prepares all necessary reports and paperwork. Performs other duties as assigned by district manager. Responsible for safety, coordinating loss prevention efforts and maintaining a clean, healthy working environment.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

EXPERIENCE
Two to four years related experience or equivalent. Knowledge of retail operations, supervision, and shrink reduction plans. Demonstrated proficiency in supervision and motivating staff. Commitment to excellence and high standards Excellent written and oral communication skills Excellent presentation skills Basic competence in subordinates' duties and tasks Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills Ability to manage priorities and workflow Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm Excellent customer service skills Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions Creative, flexible, and innovative team player Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following: Calculate figures and amounts. Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously Collect, interpret, and/or analyze complex data and information Understand and respond to a diverse population. Stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb. Must be able to lift, push/pull up to 100lbs.WORK ENVIRONMENT
