Job Description
On Demand Staffing is looking for an On-site Manager that is driven to learn new skills and help manage one of our largest accounts. This position will oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities of our temporary staff. You will implement production, productivity, quality and customer service standards and achieve the appropriate level of temporary workers within time limits. As a Manager are also responsible for timekeeping, monitoring breaks, and sending daily reports to HR. You will collaborate with both operations and HR teams to achieve common goals. A successful Manager will have multiple years of Management experience. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations and to increase the company's overall staff in the warehouse. On-site Manager Responsibilities Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in staffing efforts Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees performance Create reports using timekeeping software and documenting/filing the reports Communicate job expectations and coach employees Supervise staff on site Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports Manage time off requests, injury reports, and other HR related documentation Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices Confer and coordinate activities with other departments Proven work experience as a Supervisor Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques Skills and Requirements Knowledge of warehouse or DC processes Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data Hands-on commitment to getting the job done Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations Strong organizational and time management skills Display good time management Proficient in Microsoft office and related computer skills This job description represents a summary of the job, not an exhaustive or comprehensive list of all possible job responsibilities, tasks, and duties.
