About the Role The Store Manager is responsible for all day-to-day store operations, including recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, buying oversight, customer service, merchandising, loss prevention, and social media marketing. You'll report directly to the owners and lead a team that includes an Assistant Manager, Shift Leads, and a crew of buyers and sales associates. This is a working manager's role — you'll be on the floor with your team, setting the tone, coaching in the moment, and keeping the energy high. No two days look exactly alike, which is exactly what makes it fun. What You'll Do Grow store revenue while managing expenses and hitting performance targets Recruit, hire, train, and develop a motivated team of buyers and sales associates Build the schedule and maintain accurate employee records Lead merchandising, displays, and in-store promotions that reflect current trends Drive local marketing through social media, community engagement, and in-store events Deliver exceptional customer service and model it for your team every shift Oversee the buying process to keep our inventory fresh, trendy, and profitable Implement and maintain brand standards established by the franchisor — Winmark What We're Looking For Proven leader — 2+ years of management or assistant management experience, ideally in retail, plus a track record of hiring, training, coaching, and (when needed) terminating Fashion-forward — genuine interest in current styles and the teen and young adult market (roughly ages 14-24) People person — strong communication skills and the ability to keep a team motivated in a fast-paced environment Organized and reliable — able to juggle multiple priorities, solve problems on the fly, and follow through Tech-comfortable — at ease with POS systems, tablets, smartphones, and social platforms Physically able to stand and walk for long shifts, lift up to 40 lbs, and handle the usual retail demands (receiving, pricing, stocking) Available for a 40-45 hour week including some evenings and weekends High school diploma or equivalent required New and recent college graduates are encouraged to apply What We Offe r Competitive pay — starting at $50,000/year plus a performance bonus tied to store results Paid time off — vacation and paid holidays Generous employee discount on our always-changing inventory Career growth — we promote from within and support managers who want to grow with the company A fun, fast-paced team where you'll actually enjoy coming to work Ready to Apply?
