Job DescriptionWe are seeking a professional and organized Assistant Manager to join our team at our Albany location (5296 Florida Blvd). In this role, you will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, leading a team of associates, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, operational efficiency, and a commitment to driving business success while maintaining a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Supervise and mentor store associates, providing coaching, feedback, and performance reviews to support their professional developmentAssist in scheduling staff, managing time off requests, and ensuring adequate coverage for all shiftsOversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and stock rotationMonitor sales performance and work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales targets and business objectivesHandle customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional and timely mannerManage cash handling procedures, process transactions, and ensure accuracy of financial recordsMaintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and local regulationsOrganize and conduct staff training sessions on products, services, and customer service standardsAnalyze operational metrics and provide recommendations for process improvementsSupport the Store Manager in implementing company initiatives and strategic programsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment for both customers and employeesQualifications Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members effectivelyStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationshipsExcellent organizational and time management skillsProficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and retail management softwareDemonstrated problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making skillsCustomer service excellence and a customer-focused mindsetAbility to analyze data and interpret operational metricsCash handling experience and knowledge of financial proceduresFlexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
