Duties Supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management. Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse retail sales team through effective training and coaching in customer service, sales techniques, and product knowledge. Manage scheduling to ensure optimal coverage during peak hours and special promotions while maintaining operational efficiency. Oversee merchandising efforts, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to maximize sales opportunities. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure high levels of satisfaction. Conduct interviews for potential new hires, participate in recruiting efforts, and assist with onboarding processes. Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for transactions, payroll processing, and inventory control to streamline store operations. Monitor sales performance metrics regularly to meet or exceed sales targets; implement strategies for improvement when needed. Maintain accurate bookkeeping records, manage purchasing activities, and oversee store budgets to ensure financial health. Enforce store policies on safety, cleanliness, and organization; supervise shift transitions smoothly for seamless operations. Qualifications Proven management experience in retail environments with supervisory or assistant manager roles preferred. Strong knowledge of retail sales techniques, inventory control, merchandising, and POS systems. Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly advantageous. Demonstrated skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and inventory management. Experience with retail math including pricing strategies and sales analysis; basic math skills are essential. Familiarity with wireless sales or grocery store operations is a plus but not required. Ability to lead teams effectively with supervisory experience in retail industry sales team management. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently across various operational areas such as stock management, customer service, marketing initiatives, and shift management. Exceptional interpersonal skills including phone etiquette and managerial communication to foster positive team dynamics.
