As a Store Management Trainee, you'll work alongside store leadership to learn the day-to-day operations of the business while developing the skills needed to lead a successful team. You'll gain experience in customer service, employee development, inventory management, store operations, and business performance while working with a wide variety of merchandise, including jewelry, electronics, tools, and more. Why You'll Love Working Here Competitive hourly pay + commission up to 8% Additional bonus opportunities based on store performance Great hours — most stores open 9AM-6PM; many closed Sundays Earned Wage Access available after day 2 Employee discounts starting day one Medical, Dental, Vision, Life & supplemental benefits (eligibility required) Vacation & Sick/Personal time based on tenure and applicable state/local requirements 401(k) auto-enrollment after 6 months (age requirements apply) Tuition reimbursement opportunities for eligible employees What You'll Do Deliver exceptional customer service and help create a customer-focused environment Learn and support all aspects of daily store operations Assist with coaching, training, and developing team members Support recruiting and talent development efforts Open and close the store while following asset protection and cash handling procedures Assist with inventory management, merchandising, and store presentation Help drive store performance by supporting sales, loan, and profitability goals Learn how to analyze business results and support operational decision-making Monitor loan and buying transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance Build product knowledge across a wide variety of merchandise categories Complete management training and development assignments Perform other duties as assigned What We're Looking For 18+ years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience Previous leadership, key-holder, supervisory, or management experience preferred Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays Comfortable working with a variety of merchandise (firearms in FFL locations; certification provided) Strong customer service skills and a team-oriented mindset Basic math and computer skills; experience with retail point-of-sale systems is a plus Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Willingness to assist customers or retrieve merchandise from exterior areas Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply Commission Information Store Management Trainees can earn 2-8% commission based on individual performance and may be eligible for additional bonus opportunities based on overall store performance.
