Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth across our retail operations. This energetic role requires a passionate leader who excels in motivating teams, developing strategic sales initiatives, and delivering exceptional customer service. As a key player in our organization, you will oversee daily store activities, manage sales performance, and foster a positive shopping environment that encourages customer loyalty and business expansion. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence our sales strategies and contribute to the overall success of our retail brand. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the sales team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets while maintaining high standards of customer service. Develop effective sales strategies by analyzing market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities. Conduct employee orientation sessions, ongoing training, and development programs to enhance team skills in sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement. Recruit, interview, and select qualified candidates to build a strong retail team aligned with company goals. Manage store operations including inventory management, stock replenishment, merchandising, and pricing strategies to maximize profitability. Oversee payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling procedures, and POS (Point of Sale) system management to ensure operational accuracy. Implement marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns to attract new customers and retain existing clients. Supervise shift schedules, monitor store cleanliness, organize stock levels, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Utilize retail math skills for budgeting, sales forecasting, and analyzing financial reports to optimize store performance. Foster a positive work environment through effective communication skills, leadership presence, and team management expertise. Qualifications Proven experience in retail management or as an assistant manager with supervisory responsibilities. Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities in multiple languages or bilingual proficiency preferred. Demonstrated success in recruiting, training & development, employee orientation, and team supervision. Knowledge of inventory control systems, merchandising techniques, pricing strategies, and retail math principles. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and store management software. Experience in retail sales environments such as grocery stores or wireless sales is advantageous. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively across multiple priorities. Leadership qualities that inspire teams to meet goals while fostering a customer-centric culture. Ability to handle customer inquiries professionally via phone etiquette and provide outstanding customer service at all times.
