Assistant Manager Summary :
Help the General Manager with customer service, staffing, safety, cleanliness, daily operations, and cash/inventory control. Requirements Retail management experience. Class E license + Responsible Vendor certification. Effective communication, leadership, and basic computer skills. Key Duties Support and run store operations. Enforce policies, safety rules, and uniform standards. Maintain a clean, stocked, customer-ready store. Ensure proper cash handling and inventory accuracy. Help hire, train, schedule, and coach team members. Provide great customer service and resolve issues. Physical Demands Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. Duties may require standing, walking, sitting, using hands, reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, hearing, tasting, smelling, and occasionally driving. Employees must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Work Environment Employees must be able to work in typical store conditions with or without reasonable accommodation. Employees will be exposed to current outdoor weather, indoor temperatures generally between 68-82°F (with brief exposure from -10 to 100°F). Employees may occasionally encounter wet or humid conditions, fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, or vibration and moderate noise levels.
