We specialize in premium eBikes, cargo bikes, urban mobility products, and exceptional customer service. Our mission is to help more people ride more often by creating an approachable, exciting, and community-focused retail experience. We are looking for a highly capable Retail Operations Manager (General Manager) to help lead the next stage of our growth. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced retail environments, enjoys building systems and teams, and takes pride in creating outstanding customer experiences. This role blends retail leadership, operations management, merchandising, staff development, and strategic problem solving. What You'll Do Store Operations & Leadership Lead day-to-day operations of the store and ensure a smooth, organized, and high-performing retail environment Build and refine operational systems that improve efficiency, accountability, and customer satisfaction Identify weaknesses or bottlenecks in workflows and proactively implement solutions Maintain strong inventory organization, showroom presentation, and operational standards Coordinate with service and sales teams to ensure seamless communication and execution Monitor KPIs including sales performance, conversion rates, service turnaround times, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency Team Management Help recruit, train, coach, and develop retail and service staff Create a positive, accountable, and high-energy team culture Lead by example with professionalism, urgency, and customer-first thinking Conduct regular team check-ins, feedback sessions, and performance management Support scheduling and staffing to ensure strong floor coverage and operational consistency Customer Experience Ensure every customer interaction reflects a premium and welcoming experience Handle escalated customer situations with empathy, professionalism, and problem-solving ability Help create a retail environment that is visually compelling, easy to shop, and operationally efficient Continuously look for ways to improve the customer journey from first interaction through delivery and service Merchandising & Retail Strategy Merchandise products in a way that maximizes visual impact and sales performance Maintain showroom standards and ensure bikes, accessories, and displays are consistently presentation-ready Coordinate promotional campaigns, in-store events, and seasonal retail initiatives Analyze sales trends and customer behavior to improve product placement and operational decisions What We're Looking For 3+ years of retail management, operations management, or general management experience Experience leading teams in retail, outdoor, cycling, sporting goods, automotive, hospitality, or other customer-focused environments Strong organizational and operational problem-solving skills Ability to quickly learn systems, identify inefficiencies, and improve processes Excellent communication and leadership abilities Experience with merchandising, inventory systems, and retail operations Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution Strong sense of ownership and accountability Passion for customer experience and team development Bonus Qualifications Experience in the cycling, outdoor, ski, or micromobility industries Familiarity with eBikes or a strong interest in learning the category Experience with Lightspeed POS, inventory management software, and retail analytics Community-building or event experience Experience scaling operations in a growing business What Success Looks Like A store that runs smoothly, efficiently, and profitably A team that feels motivated, supported, and accountable Customers who consistently leave with an exceptional experience Operational systems that become more scalable and efficient over time A showroom that feels exciting, organized, and premium Why Join Casa Bikes?
