Lead to oversee operations in our Paint Dept.. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the paint process and the ability to lead a team effectively, coordinate surface preparation, coating application, and finishing activities, ensuring safety and efficiency at every step. Responsibilities Coordinate with Production Leads to manage daily production activities and ensure timely completion of manufacturing goals Organize daily paint department activities, including surface preparation and all painting tasks. Application of coatings using conventional spray guns Ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols, including PPE use such as respirators and respiratory protection equipment. Maintain high quality standards by conducting visual color comparisons, inspections with precision measuring instruments, and ensuring proper materials handling. Monitor compliance with lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow efficiency and reduce waste. Train team members on the proper use of coating spray guns and painting techniques to ensure consistent results. Conduct regular safety audits and enforce safety protocols related to industrial painting environments, including respirator fitting and PPE adherence. Experience Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on industrial painting Familiarity with paints used in industrial painting applications. Skilled in operating spray guns (conventional and airless), power tools, hand tools, and respiratory protection equipment. Knowledge of safety standards related to PPE use, respiratory protection programs, and hazardous material handling. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for quality control and process adjustments. Experience working within lean manufacturing frameworks to improve process flow and reduce waste while maintaining high-quality output. Requirements 1+ years' Manufacturing management or supervisory experience
REQUIRED
Must speak, read and write English/bilingual Spanish preferred Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to supervise and collaborate with a diverse team effectively Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards. High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are a plus. Must meet flexible work schedule demands

Full-time Pay:
$20.00 + commensurate with experience Expected hours: 40 per week Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM Some OT and Saturdays as needed
