This position is responsible for providing an excellent customer experience, maintaining quality, cleanliness, inventory, product availability, and staff productivity standards, while ensuring the store is fully prepared to operate from opening to closing. Key Responsibilities Supervise the daily operations of the Kitchen, Cafeteria, Meat Department, Grocery, and Produce areas. Lead and coordinate the team, assign tasks, and ensure employees follow schedules and responsibilities. Maintain high customer service standards and resolve customer issues and complaints quickly and effectively. Oversee product stocking, displays, rotation, and presentation, ensuring all areas remain organized and clean. Monitor inventory, minimize waste and shrinkage, and maintain appropriate stock levels to prevent shortages. Ensure compliance with food safety procedures, proper handling of perishable products, and hygiene standards. Train, coach, and provide feedback to employees to improve performance and promote a results-oriented work culture. Participate in cycle counts and full inventory processes, identifying opportunities to improve operations. Ensure compliance with company policies, internal procedures, and operational goals. Requirements Bilingual in English and Spanish is required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience supervising operations, leading teams, or managing a store, preferably in a supermarket, retail, or food-service environment. Experience with inventory management, shrink control, and staff management. Knowledge of perishable products, customer service, and supermarket operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic knowledge of inventory or point-of-sale systems is preferred. Strong ability to communicate effectively with both English- and Spanish-speaking employees and customers. Core Competencies Leadership and team management. Organization and planning.
