Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic take-out/retail team as an Assistant Store Manager and become a vital leader in delivering exceptional customer experiences and operational excellence. In this energetic role, you will support the store manager in overseeing daily store operations, managing sales teams, and ensuring smooth inventory control. Your leadership will inspire team members, enhance sales performance, and uphold the highest standards of customer service. Duties Assist in managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system oversight Lead, motivate, and supervise retail/counter staff to achieve sales goals and deliver outstanding customer service Coordinate employee orientation, training & development initiatives to foster a knowledgeable and engaged team Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, merchandising, and inventory control to optimize product availability Implement pricing strategies, sales promotions, and merchandising plans to maximize revenue opportunities Requirements Proven experience in restaurant/retail management or assistant manager roles within the retail or grocery industry Strong leadership skills with previous supervising or team management experience Excellent communication skills with the ability to train, develop, and motivate staff effectively Proficiency with POS systems, inventory management software, and basic bookkeeping practices Demonstrated skills in negotiation, customer service excellence, and operational management Ability to perform basic math calculations related to retail math, budgeting, and cash handling accurately Organizational skills with a focus on time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment Join us to lead a motivated team dedicated to delivering top-tier food/retail experiences!
