Responsibilities Lead and supervise daily dispensary operations, including opening and closing procedures, ensuring smooth workflow throughout each shift Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, offering product recommendations, and resolving issues promptly and professionally Manage inventory control, including stock replenishment, purchasing, and accurate record-keeping using POS (Point of Sale) systems Train and develop team members on product knowledge, sales techniques, compliance protocols, and customer service standards Oversee cash handling, cashiering duties, and payroll processing with precision and integrity Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations related to cannabis sales, security protocols, and record-keeping requirements Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing candidates and onboarding new employees to foster a motivated team environment Skills Proven management experience within retail or dispensary settings with strong leadership capabilities Excellent communication skills, including managerial communication, phone etiquette, and organizational skills Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively Strong knowledge of POS systems, inventory management software, and operational procedures in retail environments Demonstrated proficiency in retail math, pricing strategies, budgeting, and basic bookkeeping practices Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building lasting relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction Experience in supervising sales teams, managing store operations, merchandising, stocking, and inventory control Ability to handle cash handling accurately while maintaining compliance with security protocols Skilled in training & development initiatives to enhance team performance and operational efficiency Familiarity with grocery store or retail industry sales team management is a plus; experience in managing shift operations is essential Strong organizational skills combined with time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment Join us as a Cannabis Dispensary Shift Leader where your leadership fuels our success!
