We're hiring an Assistant Store Manager for our new Arsenal Yards location in Watertown, MA. This is an opportunity for an experienced retail leader to help open a brand-new store while building toward future Store Manager and multi-unit leadership opportunities .

New Store Opening & Training August-September:

Leadership Training New Assistant Store Managers will train at our Harvard Square location: 1 Brattle Sq, Cambridge, MA 02138 Training will focus on: Store operations and retail leadership Buying and inventory management Merchandising and visual standards Customer service Team leadership and development

September-October:

Store Setup You'll transition to Arsenal Yards and help: Set up and merchandise the new store Receive and organize inventory Hire, onboard, and train team members Prepare store operations for opening

October:

Grand Opening You'll help lead pre-opening operations, merchandising, team readiness, customer engagement, and grand opening execution. Assistant Store Manager Responsibilities As an Assistant Store Manager, you'll partner with the Store Manager to drive sales, develop employees, and oversee day-to-day retail operations. Leadership & Store Operations Lead daily store operations and support sales goals Coach, train, and motivate store employees Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management Maintain company policies and operational standards Support payroll and attendance management Buying, Inventory & Merchandising Make buying decisions based on company standards and fashion trends Manage inventory levels, pricing, and replenishment Execute visual merchandising and promotional strategies Monitor local retail and fashion trends Maintain an organized, visually appealing sales floor Customer Experience & Sales Deliver excellent customer service Resolve customer questions and concerns Drive sales through product knowledge and team leadership Support POS, fitting rooms, replenishment, and sales floor operations Qualifications 2+ years of retail management or supervisory experience preferred Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills Experience with retail operations, merchandising, inventory, and customer service Passion for fashion, resale, and current trends Strong communication and decision-making skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment Reliable, accountable, and professional Available to work weekends and holidays Open to relocation preferred for accelerated career growth Why Join 2ND
