The Deli Lead supervises team members, coordinates food prep, slicing, merchandising, and safe handling of meats, cheeses, and prepared foods. This role maintains quality, freshness, and food safety standards, manages inventory, rotation, and shrink, and ensures compliance with sanitation and labeling rules. The Deli Lead trains and coaches associates, supports scheduling, drives productivity and sales, and upholds BJ's member-focused culture in a fast-paced, retail warehouse environment.
