Position SummaryAs a Shift Supervisor , you will support the day-to-day operation of the store by leading the team, delivering an exceptional customer experience, maintaining product and service quality, and ensuring operational standards are consistently met. The Shift Supervisor serves as a role model for team members, provides coaching and support, and helps create a welcoming, inclusive, and positive work environment.

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for leading assigned shifts, coordinating team activities, maintaining store standards, and supporting business goals while following company policies and applicable health, safety, and employment requirements.

Lead assigned shifts and coordinate daily store activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Create a welcoming, positive, and inclusive experience for customers and team members. Provide direction, coaching, and support to team members during assigned shifts. Assign responsibilities and adjust team deployment based on customer volume, business needs, and operational priorities. Ensure team members follow company standards for customer service, product preparation, quality, cleanliness, and food safety. Maintain high standards for product quality, preparation, presentation, portioning, and consistency. Demonstrate and reinforce excellent customer service practices. Respond to customer questions, concerns, and feedback in a professional and timely manner. Support the training and development of new and existing team members. Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and recognition to team members. Promote a respectful, inclusive, and collaborative workplace. Monitor inventory levels and assist with receiving, storing, rotating, and maintaining products and supplies. Maintain appropriate product freshness, organization, and availability. Ensure the store, including customer areas, preparation areas, restrooms, and storage areas, remains clean, organized, and safe. Follow established procedures for cash handling, register operations, deposits, and loss prevention. Complete opening, closing, and shift-change procedures, including required checklists and documentation. Monitor equipment and promptly report maintenance, safety, or operational concerns. Follow company policies and procedures, including food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, security, and operational standards. Help maintain appropriate staffing and team deployment throughout the shift. Communicate important operational information to the Store Manager and other leadership team members. Support store goals related to customer service, sales, productivity, quality, and operational performance. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to Crew Members and other store support staff during assigned shifts. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to ensure effective shift execution. Coach team members regarding customer service, operational procedures, quality, safety, and performance expectations. Provide feedback and recognition to support employee development and engagement. Assist store leadership with onboarding and training new team members. Model professionalism, respect, accountability, teamwork, and the company's values. Escalate employee, customer, safety, and operational concerns to the appropriate manager when necessary. Creating a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment. Engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner. Ensuring orders are prepared accurately, consistently, and efficiently. Addressing customer concerns and working to resolve issues appropriately. Maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting store environment. Modeling the company's customer service standards for all team members. Maintain effective shift deployment and workflow. Monitor customer traffic and adjust team assignments as business needs change. Ensure products and supplies are properly stocked and available. Monitor product freshness, quality, and availability. Follow food preparation, food safety, sanitation, and storage requirements. Follow proper cash-handling and register procedures. Complete required opening, closing, and shift documentation. Identify and communicate operational issues to store leadership. Support compliance with company policies and applicable laws and regulations. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts. Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling. Ability to perform repetitive tasks associated with food and beverage preparation and customer service. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing approximately 25-40 pounds , as required by the position. Ability to safely operate applicable kitchen, beverage, cleaning, and point-of-sale equipment. Work is performed in a fast-paced retail and food-service environment with frequent customer and team interaction. Exposure to heat, steam, cold temperatures, grease, food and beverage products, and cleaning materials. Exposure to noise from equipment and customer activity. Work may involve wet or slippery floors, hot surfaces, and proximity to moving equipment. Schedule may include mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts based on business needs. Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; not required. Previous experience in food service, quick-service restaurants, retail, hospitality, or customer service is preferred but not required. Previous leadership or supervisory experience is helpful but not required. Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and management. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and company procedures. Basic math, cash-handling, and point-of-sale skills preferred. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment. Demonstrated willingness to learn, coach others, and take on increasing responsibility. Food handler certification or willingness to obtain certification where required by applicable state or local regulations.
Pay:
$16.00 - $16.50 per hour
