Summary:
As an Assistant Store Manager at Lacoste, your role is pivotal in supporting the daily operations of our retail store. Working closely with the Store Manager, you will contribute to meeting or surpassing sales targets, upholding exceptional customer service standards, assisting with inventory management, and motivating a team of dedicated, customer-oriented associates. Your collaborative and supportive approach will be key to maintaining the smooth and efficient running of the store.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Assistance:
Help oversee daily store operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Sales Support:
Support the implementation of sales strategies to meet or exceed targets, and contribute to analyzing sales data for growth opportunities.
Team Leadership:
Assist in guiding, coaching, and developing the store team, fostering a positive work environment.
Customer Service Focus:
Maintain excellent customer service standards, handling customer queries and issues with professionalism.
Inventory Oversight:
Assist with inventory management, including stock ordering, receiving, and organizing.
Merchandising and Presentation:
Collaborate in ensuring the store's visual appeal and adherence to brand standards.
Administrative Support:
Assist with budget management and compliance with company policies and safety standards.
Profile Requirements/Qualifications:
2-3 years of experience in a retail management or supervisory role. Demonstrated ability in supporting a team and store operations. Strong leadership and people management skills. Effective communication and organizational skills. Experience in using retail management software and MS Office. Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced retail environment. An associate or bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred.
