Gram's Five & Dime Cannabis Co. is a women-owned, family-run dispensary seeking a knowledgeable, motivated Shift Lead to join our team at our medical and recreational locations in Newport. Position Details Full-time :

30-35 hours/week, with opportunities for extra shifts to cover vacations or call-outs

Schedule :

FULL weekend availability is required (AM & PM on Fri, Sat, & Sun) Hours of operation : 8:30 AM - 10:00 PM, seven days a week

Responsibilities Customer Service & Sales Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming environment Assist customers in selecting products, answering questions about strains, medicinal uses, and methods of consumption Share personal cannabis knowledge and experiences to help educate customers Process transactions accurately using our POS system Resolve customer concerns independently Store Operations Oversee daily store operations, including inventory and cash management Ensure that every customer receives excellent service through training, managing and supporting the growth of employees throughout the store Greet and assist customers in a positive, approachable manner Answer questions and resolve customer inquiries and concerns Maintain a presence in the store by providing top-tier customer service Ensure a clean, well-stocked store for customers Stay informed on cannabis products, industry news, and trends Additional duties may include assisting the Store Manager in record keeping and loss prevention efforts. Other duties may be assigned on an as-required basis. Qualifications & Skills Management and/or leadership experience with the ability to supervise, lead and motivate a crew Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and time management skills Professional, friendly demeanor with a customer-first approach Comfortable using technology and learning new software Computer-literacy, including experience with Excel. POS and/or Inventory Management System experience a HUGE plus. Basic knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn (training provided) Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Accurate cash-handling and basic math abilities Flexible, adaptable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Ability to work effectively as part of a team Requirements 21+ years old and a current Maine resident with valid Maine ID Eligible for a Maine Office of Cannabis Policy Individual Identification Card (IIC) and Registry Identification Card (RIC) - we will help you apply!
