About Whipped & Dipped Whipped & Dipped is a growing dessert café in Big Rapids serving signature puddings, ice cream, coffee, brioche desserts, and hot melts. We're looking for a dependable, organized Store Manager who takes ownership . This position is ideal for someone who enjoys leading a small team, keeping a store organized, and making sure daily operations actually get completed—not just talked about. What You'll Be Responsible For You will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of the store, including: Leading and supervising employees during shifts Making sure employees arrive on time and scheduled shifts are properly covered Enforcing our daily opening, operating, prep, and closing checklists Verifying required tasks and photo documentation are completed Making sure product prep is completed so the next shift is never left short Monitoring inventory and identifying low/out-of-stock items before they become a problem Maintaining food quality, cleanliness, presentation, and customer-service standards Training new employees and reinforcing procedures with existing staff Addressing excessive phone use, missed responsibilities, attendance issues, and other performance concerns professionally Documenting employee performance and communicating recurring issues to ownership Helping manage scheduling and finding coverage when necessary Keeping the store organized, stocked, clean, and ready for business Stepping into production, register, or customer service when the team needs help Sending ownership a brief daily operations update What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Reliable and punctual Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable holding employees accountable Friendly but firm when standards aren't being followed Able to lead without creating unnecessary drama Proactive—you notice problems and solve them Comfortable working in a fast-paced food-service environment Strong at communicating with both employees and customers Able to follow established systems rather than constantly improvising Available for a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends Previous restaurant, café, retail, shift-lead, assistant-manager, or management experience is strongly preferred.
