The Sundry Co. is a new micro modern general store featuring pantry goods, gifts, Michigan finds, and Jar Head products. We're hiring two dependable people to help run the shop and make customers feel welcome. This is a hands-on role in a small business. During a shift, you may be the person greeting customers, running checkout, stocking a display, or noticing a task that needs to get done. What you'll do Welcome customers, answer questions, and handle purchases using Square Open and close the shop according to store procedures Receive, count, price, and stock merchandise; keep displays and the shop clean and inviting Help process online orders through Square if we launch the online store Take product photos and help with Facebook posts and customer messages using our brand guidelines Keep track of assigned tasks, communicate progress, and flag questions or problems promptly Help with other shop and Project 4770 tasks as needed What we're looking for You're reliable, organized, comfortable talking with people, and attentive to details. You can work independently, write a clear message, keep a task list moving, and use Facebook confidently. Retail or Square experience is helpful, but we're happy to teach the systems. We're looking for people who can work weekends and participate in paid training before our planned October opening. For the right person, this role may grow into broader administrative and operations support for Project 4770 and Jar Head Salsa in 2027.
