They represent and promote the Barcade® brand by being friendly, attentive, and knowledgable of what we have to offer our customers. Our Floor Managers are player-coach roles, splitting their time between bartending and overseeing the floor on designated days. This is an hourly, non-exempt developmental position. Job Snapshot Oversee designated floor shifts with a focus on timing, pace, and guest experience Execute bartending shifts to the top of our standards, serving as a behavior model for other bartenders Assist in training new hires; support coaching and provide real-time feedback Ensure front-of-house and guest-facing areas reflect Barcade's standards of quality and brand identity by performing daily walkthroughs Support the Games Program by testing and maintaining the arcade games on designated floor shifts What You'll Need to Succeed A minimum of 2+ years of bartending experience, with a preference for Lead Bartender or Assistant Manager experience Full-time availability, including late nights, holidays and weekend shifts Solid knowledge of craft beer styles, service standards, and storage Willingness to learn light game maintenance or repairs (training provided) Comfortable working in a fast-paced bar, kitchen, and arcade environment TIPS and CBS certification within 90 days (or already certified) Ability to perform the essential functions of the role, including remaining on your feet for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation Benefits and Perks Full-time hourly employees may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, and other benefits below subject to ACA eligibility terms. The Original Arcade Bar Barcade® is the originator of the arcade bar concept and the largest operator of arcade bars in the United States. Barcade locations feature 40 to 75 video games and pinball machines mostly from the classic period of the 1980s as well as 24 American craft beers on draft.
