Responsibilities include hiring, mentoring, supervision, buying and merchandising department products, scheduling and managing financials, controlling inventory, complying with relevant regulations and standards, and completing special projects as assigned. We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated and driven team member.

DUTIES:

Set and achieve the highest standards in retail execution. Model and provide our customers with outstanding customer service. Train and lead an outstanding team in a manner consistent with Better Health's vision and standards. Implement and support all corporate programs. Establish a positive work environment and maintain high team morale. Develop team members to become our future Team Leaders through leading by example, excellent communication and delivering a clear and concise message. Drive team productivity and achieve required labor and margin targets. Maintain a well-stocked and beautifully merchandised department. Uphold and maintain department and store standards. Be an active and positive participant in store leadership. Uphold all Loss Prevention and Safety practices and procedures. Develop and maintain an attractive and creative store layout Establish productive working relationships with others.

REQUIREMENTS

Ability to multi-task, excellent follow-thru and ability to see the big picture. High energy, enthusiasm and the willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done. Strong knowledge of department financials and labor. Excellent customer service skills and high standards of excellence. Strong ability to merchandise Grocery Department and store. Excellent interpersonal skills and motivational skills. Ability to be able to work a minimum of 1 opening, closing, mid and weekend shift per week. Strong organizational, written and verbal skills. Maintain a strong level of labeling, product, shelf and sign integrity. Available to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the department and store.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Stand and walk for extended periods of time. Bend and stoop to grasp objects and climb ladders. Bend and lift loads, not to exceed 50 pounds. Push and pull cats weighing up to 100 pounds
