We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Bicycle Mechanic/Assistant Manager to join our energetic team. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive bicycle repairs, including brake adjustments, suspension servicing, wheel truing, and drivetrain maintenance using hand tools and power tools. Conduct symptom-based mechanical diagnosis to identify issues efficiently and accurately. Assemble new bicycles and perform routine maintenance work to keep bikes in optimal condition. Assist customers with retail sales, providing expert advice on bike components, accessories, and maintenance products. Manage inventory levels, order parts, and maintain a clean, organized workshop environment. Support the store's daily operations by utilizing POS (Point of Sale) systems for sales transactions and customer service interactions. Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring clients leave satisfied with their repairs and purchases. Skills Proven experience as a service technician with strong mechanical knowledge of bicycles and related systems. Diagnose mechanical issues and provide accurate service estimates. Perform high-quality repairs and maintenance on all makes and models. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance work involving heavy lifting. Experience with retail sales processes, retail math, and POS systems. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally. Organizational skills to manage inventory and shop workflow. Punctual, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment. Why Join Us?
