The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting overall store performance. This role requires strong managerial communication skills, retail industry knowledge, and the ability to supervise a sales team effectively. The Assistant Store Manager will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment for customers while ensuring operational efficiency. Duties Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures. Supervise and motivate retail sales staff to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional customer service. Manage staff scheduling to ensure appropriate coverage during peak hours and special events. Utilize POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, inventory management, and reporting. Maintain comprehensive product knowledge of smoke and vape products to assist customers effectively. Oversee inventory management, including stock replenishment, stock counts, and minimizing shrinkage. Communicate managerial directives clearly to team members and foster a positive work environment. Monitor retail sales performance and implement strategies to increase revenue. Ensure compliance with store policies, safety regulations, and industry standards. Qualifications Proven experience managing retail sales teams within the retail industry, preferably in smoke or vape shops. Strong managerial communication skills with the ability to supervise staff effectively. Experience operating POS systems and managing inventory accurately. Demonstrated ability to handle day-to-day store operations efficiently. Supervisory experience in a retail setting is required. Knowledge of retail industry sales techniques and customer service best practices. Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings as needed.
