A Retail Store Manager manages a retail store, either an independent business or a store that is part of a large retail chain. Reviews and monitors merchandise sales, inventory and prices, and directs advertising and promotions. Supervises sales, warehouse, cleaning, maintenance and security staff and prepares work schedules. Responsible for resolving customer complaints.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead our French Lake convenience store. As the Store Manager, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, ensure excellent customer service, and drive sales growth. You will embody the company culture, uphold our operational standards, and contribute to the ongoing success of Jack's Companies. Pay $20 - $24 per hour OT over 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage daily store operations, including sales, inventory, and customer service Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate store team members to ensure high performance Develop and implement business strategies to meet sales and profitability goals Monitor inventory levels, manage vendor relationships, and place product orders Maintain visual merchandising standards, store cleanliness, and safety compliance Analyze sales data, identify trends, and implement solutions to increase revenue Handle customer complaints and resolve any operational issues efficiently Prepare reports on sales, staff performance, and operational metrics for upper management
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Store Manager or similar retail leadership role Strong leadership, team-building, and coaching skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Customer-focused mindset with a passion for providing exceptional service Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage a fast-paced environment High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred Experience with retail management software and POS systems Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
