What You'll Do:
The After-Sales Shop Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, scheduling, productivity, and quality control of a standalone automotive appearance and reconditioning facility. This role leads and develops a team focused on Paint Protection Film (PPF), window tint installation, Paintless Dent Repair (PDR), wheel repair and refinishing, and automotive detailing services. The After-Sales Shop Manager is responsible for driving operational performance, profitability, customer satisfaction, and business growth while ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards. Manage all Paint Protection Film (PPF) and window tint installation operations, including scheduling, workflow, and technician productivity. Oversee Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) services to ensure high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction. Supervise wheel repair and refinishing services, maintaining quality standards and turnaround times. Oversee automotive detailing operations, ensuring exceptional vehicle presentation, quality standards, and efficient turnaround times. Recruit, train, coach, and develop department staff to maximize performance and efficiency. Monitor departmental performance metrics, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Manage departmental profit and loss (P&L) performance, including budgeting, expense management, and revenue growth. Control labor costs, monitor overtime, and ensure efficient staffing levels to maximize productivity and profitability. Grow and develop retail business opportunities from the dealership location. Build relationships with outside dealerships and retail customers to increase service volume. Support marketing initiatives, including social media and website content, to promote after-sales services. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures. Maintain exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns in a professional manner. All other duties as assigned by Fixed Ops leadership.
What You'll Bring:
5+ years of management experience in automotive service, reconditioning, appearance, detailing, or after-sales operations. Experience leading teams and managing technician productivity, workflow, and scheduling. Strong understanding of PPF, window tint, PDR, wheel repair/refinishing, and automotive detailing operations. Proven ability to manage departmental financial performance, including budgets and P&L accountability. Demonstrated success developing customer relationships and growing retail or wholesale business. Strong communication, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Total Rewards $80,000.00 - $120,000/ annually This is a performance driven position, eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes a Base/Salary/Hourly offset and the opportunity to earn bonus/commission. Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
