JAMS Vault is a brand-new collectibles store opening at The District of Chesterfield, next to The Factory, and we're looking for an experienced Trading Card Store Manager to join our team. This isn't a traditional retail manager position. We're specifically looking for someone who has managed a card/TCG shop or has significant hands-on experience working in one and understands what actually makes a great card store work. You'll work closely with our current General Manager and ownership, bringing your card-shop experience and TCG knowledge to the team. Our General Manager will oversee the overall operation of JAMS, while this position will take a leadership role in building and managing the trading card and gaming side of the business. We're located at The District of Chesterfield, an entertainment destination that also includes The Factory concert venue. Our goal is to build a store people don't just shop at. We want people to play, trade, collect, hang out, attend events, and become part of the community. Card Shop Experience Is Required For this position, we're looking for someone who has: Managed a card shop/TCG store, or Spent enough time working in a successful card shop to have a strong understanding of how one should operate This is important to us. We're not looking for a traditional retail manager who happens to like Pokémon. We want someone who understands the card business and can bring that experience to our existing management team. What You'll Be Doing You'll work directly with our General Manager and ownership to help develop and oversee the TCG side of JAMS, including: Managing day-to-day card and TCG operations Helping train and lead our TCG/customer service team Buying, trading, and evaluating collections Managing singles, sealed products, graded cards, and accessories Planning for new releases and product launches Helping manage inventory, pricing, organization, and merchandising Running tournaments, leagues, organized play, and special events Building relationships with local players and collectors Helping us determine which games and products we should expand Creating events and programs that bring customers back regularly Working with our General Manager on staffing, scheduling, customer service, and overall store operations Bringing ideas from your previous card-shop experience and helping us improve as we grow You Should Know the Hobby Strong knowledge of several TCGs is important, particularly: Pokémon

Experience with card grading, condition, buying/trading, distribution, allocations, tournament software, POS/inventory systems, online sales, live selling, or organized play is a big plus. Who We're Looking For We don't just need someone who can manage employees. We need someone who knows card shops. You understand why some stores build incredible communities while others don't. You understand releases, allocations, pricing, trades, tournaments, collectors, competitive players, casual players, and the personalities that come with the hobby. You should also be comfortable being part of a management team. You'll have a lot of input and ownership over the card side of JAMS, but you'll also work closely with our General Manager and ownership to make sure the entire store works together. We're looking for someone collaborative—not someone who needs to have their own kingdom. Compensation $42,000-$60,000 per year, depending on experience and what you can bring to the position. We're willing to pay toward the higher end for someone with a proven history of successfully managing or helping operate a card shop who can step in and make an immediate impact. Why JAMS?
