Handle purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and POS (Point of Sale) system operations to streamline transactions. Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions, and participate in interviewing and recruiting efforts. Monitor sales performance, manage payroll processing, and oversee cash handling procedures with accuracy. Implement operational policies related to budgeting, bookkeeping, and store safety standards to ensure compliance. Skills Proven management experience in retail or sales teams with strong leadership capabilities. Excellent communication skills including managerial communication, phone etiquette, and organizational skills. Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and basic math for retail math calculations. Strong negotiation skills for purchasing negotiations and vendor relations. Ability to supervise staff effectively through training & development initiatives and team management practices. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
