The department manager will direct business operations of the Commercial install department with the objective to create, foster, and maintain safety-conscious, positive employee relations using a lead by example approach, effective communication, coaching, training, and development. Job Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations of the commercial door install department Promote and participate in process improvements, looking for opportunities to do things more effectively and efficiently Communicate regularly with members of management to review business results, share observations, and provide feedback Communicate with customers, ensuring the highest quality of service has been provided Improve individual performance of the field force you manage through daily, monthly and yearly performance reviews Manage, provide leadership for, and develop staff through effective communication, coaching, training, and development for continued success and/or for future advancement Lead monthly sales and performance department meetings Other duties as assigned by Manager Job Requirements Bachelor's degree, highly preferred and a minimum of four (4) years of experience managing personnel; an equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered Responsible for communicating with customers to ensure satisfaction levels consistently exceed expectations Review customer survey data, respond to customer concerns Must be committed to a high standard of safety, and be willing and able to comply with all safety laws and policies Must possess a Valid Driver's License and good driving record Ability to work on-site at our St. Louis, MO location What We Offer Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage — available your first full month Generous paid time off plus paid holidays and floating holidays Company-paid life insurance, short-term disability, and long-term disability 401(k) with employer match Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options Voluntary benefits including supplemental life and critical illness coverage Employee discounts for you and your immediate family Competitive compensation with annual performance reviews Successful completion of employment verifications, background check, drug screen, and driving record (if applicable) required in advance of hire.
