ReStore Assistant Manager Rutherford County Habitat for Humanity is seeking a dependable, motivated, and customer-focused ReStore Assistant Manager to join our team. The Assistant Manager will support the ReStore Manager in daily operations while providing excellent service to customers, coordinating volunteers, and helping maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment.

ReStore Manager Job Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with questions and purchases. Supervise, coordinate, and assist volunteers with daily tasks. Assist with receiving, organizing, and merchandising donated items. Help create an organized, appealing, and accessible sales floor. Assist with cashiering, checkout, and covering the register as needed. Maintain store cleanliness and organization. Assist with pricing merchandise and creating promotional signs and displays. Assist with donation pickups and deliveries when needed. Help ensure donations and merchandise are handled appropriately. Assist with opening and closing procedures. Serve as Manager on Duty when the ReStore Manager is unavailable. Help maintain a safe environment for customers, volunteers, and staff. Perform other duties as assigned by the ReStore Manager. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; college experience preferred. Retail, customer service, or supervisory experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with customers, volunteers, and staff. Organized, dependable, and able to prioritize multiple tasks. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to learn and follow established procedures and policies. Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
