Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Body Shop Manager, where you will lead and oversee all operations within our collision repair facility. This role is perfect for a motivated professional with a passion for automotive repair and a knack for leadership. You will coordinate repair processes, manage a skilled team of technicians, ensure adherence to safety standards, and deliver exceptional service to our clients. Your expertise in auto body repair, collision damage assessment, and shop management will drive efficiency and quality in every project. Responsibilities Supervise daily shop operations, ensuring timely and high-quality vehicle repairs Coordinate with insurance adjusters, clients, and team members to facilitate smooth workflow Manage and mentor technicians, providing training on auto body repair techniques, safety protocols, and new technologies Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as computer-aided vehicle damage estimating software Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) across the shop Conduct defect root cause analysis to identify recurring issues and implement corrective actions Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts inventory, and customer communications while ensuring shop profitability Skills Proven dealership or collision repair shop experience with strong leadership skills Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and vehicle maintenance procedures Proficiency in auto body repair techniques including auto painting, refinishing, aluminum work, metal fabrication, and auto glass replacement Skilled in automotive repair tools including hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for collision repair Experience with vehicle damage estimation using computer-aided software Knowledge of safety regulations related to collision repair shops and proper PPE use Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or parts handling Strong client communication skills to explain repairs clearly and manage customer expectations Familiarity with auto restoration projects and auto painting processes Basic math skills for measurements, estimates, and inventory management Mechanic experience is advantageous for troubleshooting complex vehicle issues This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a vibrant team dedicated to restoring vehicles to their best condition while ensuring safety and quality at every step. Pay:
$60,000.00 - $79,000.00 per year
