A Retail Associate Manager assists the manager at a retail store, either an independent business or a store that is part of a large retail chain. Supervises sales associates and retail store operations. Reviews and monitors merchandise sales, inventory and prices, and directs advertising and promotions. May prepare work schedules and hire, train and evaluate sales associates. May supervise warehouse, cleaning, maintenance or security staff. Assists with resolving customer complaints.

Job Description

We are looking for a dependable, motivated Assistant Detail Shop Manager to help oversee the daily operations of a busy automotive detailing department. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can work alongside the team while helping maintain quality, productivity, and a professional relationship with dealership staff.
Responsibilities:
Assist with managing and supervising the detail team Help assign vehicles and daily workloads Ensure vehicles are completed on time and meet quality standards Inspect completed vehicles and correct any quality concerns Train and support new and current employees Help maintain supplies, equipment, and an organized work area Communicate with dealership management regarding vehicle needs and priorities Step in and detail vehicles when needed Help maintain attendance, productivity, and a positive team environment Assist the Detail Shop Manager with day-to-day operations
Qualifications:
Automotive detailing experience preferred Previous leadership, supervisor, or management experience is a plus Strong work ethic and reliable attendance Ability to lead by example Good communication and organizational skills Valid driver's license preferred Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Ability to work outdoors and around vehicles in varying weather conditions
