The Assistant Pub Manager works closely with the Pub Manager to oversee the daily operations of a fast-paced, high-volume pub environment. This is a hands-on seasonal position that requires the ability to both manage daily operations and work alongside the team on the floor. Responsibilities include assisting with staff supervision and training, creating and managing schedules, overseeing inventory and ordering, and ensuring guest satisfaction. The Assistant Pub Manager will also work serving, bartending, and barback shifts as needed while providing leadership, support, and direction to the staff. The ideal candidate is a natural leader with strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills. A positive, fun, friendly, and team-oriented attitude is essential, along with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a busy environment. Candidates should have knowledge of beverage service, serving standards, inventory control, and POS systems. The Assistant Pub Manager must also understand and follow all New Hampshire State Liquor Commission rules and procedures.
