Store Manager Position Overview:
The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager by ensuring a positive customer and employee experience and driving sales and profitability for the location. The Assistant Manager plays a key leadership role in day-to-day operations, including overseeing staff, ensuring compliance with state and local cannabis regulations, driving sales, and enhancing customer satisfaction and brand loyalty.
Pay:
$24.00/hour, plus benefits Travel %: 0 FLSA status: Non-Exempt Major Areas of Responsibility include: Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to drive revenue Supervise the operation of the store and team members, task delegation, and scheduling of team members Ensure all transactions and operations comply with local, state, and company regulations Support all aspects of inventory management to ensure compliance with local, state, and company regulations, including but not limited to ensuring inventory movement is properly documented; conduct regular audits; support month/quarter/year-end inventory processes Monitor inventory levels and assist with receiving, tracking, and reconciling deliveries and lead inventory counts Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner in collaboration with Store Manager Support all people leadership activities including, but not limited to, performance management, payroll & scheduling, recruiting & hiring, training & onboarding Lead by example in curating an exceptional customer experience, including performing guest transactions, and educating customers and employees on cannabis products, usage methods, and safety Manage and respond to escalated customer issues as needed Maintain knowledge of all computer and technology systems and software Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities): All applicants must be at least 21 years of age At least 1 year of retail management or supervisory experience Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to build and manage teams Detail oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong business acumen and understanding of how to measure success through KPIs and financial targets Experience and strong attention to detail in cash handling and POS operations Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays Current MED badge or ability to attain one prior to starting Cannabis Industry experience a strong plus
