The Opportunity As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in running the shop day-to-day while developing your leadership skills and preparing for future management opportunities. You will lead by example on the floor, coach team members, and help create a place guests love to visit and staff love to work. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will grow your operational, people, and problem-solving skills while enjoying a positive culture, flexible schedules, and all the ice cream you can eat. What You'll Do Lead, coach, and support scoopers and shift leads during busy shifts and quieter times alike. Oversee daily shop operations, including cash handling, inventory checks, and opening and closing procedures. Set the standard for friendly, efficient, and memorable guest service and train others to deliver the same. Help your team grow by providing feedback, on-the-job training, and encouragement so you all win together. Support community events, in-store promotions, and shop goals to build loyal regulars and strong sales. What Success Looks Like Within your first few months, you confidently run shifts, handle issues independently, and keep operations smooth and organized. Your team feels supported, knows what is expected, and consistently delivers warm, efficient guest service. Cash handling, inventory, and store procedures are accurate, on time, and in line with company standards. Guest feedback, team morale, and shop performance improve under your leadership and presence on the floor. What We're Looking For Previous leadership or supervisory experience, ideally in food service or retail. Clear, respectful communication skills and the ability to solve problems in the moment. Reliable, positive, and accountable work habits, especially during busy or stressful times. A genuine drive to grow, take on more responsibility, and help others develop their skills.
