Liquor Store Manager Location:
Long Branch, NJ Schedule:
Full-time We're seeking an experienced, hands-on Store Manager to lead the daily operations of our independently owned liquor store. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, leading a team, growing sales, and delivering an outstanding customer experience. Responsibilities Manage all day-to-day store operations Purchase and manage beer, wine, and liquor inventory Build vendor and distributor relationships Lead, train, schedule, and develop employees Manage labor hours and staffing Drive sales through merchandising, promotions, and customer service Maintain inventory accuracy Oversee cash handling, opening/closing, and front-end operations Ensure compliance with NJ ABC regulations and company policies Qualifications 2-5+ years of liquor store management experience required Strong knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits Experience with inventory management, merchandising, and vendor relations Proven leadership and employee management experience Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Comfortable using POS systems, Microsoft Excel, social media, and NJ Lottery systems Excellent customer service and communication skills Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs Compensation Competitive salary based on experience Growth opportunities within a growing local business
