Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking energetic and dedicated Part-Time Assistants to serve as Morning 6:30am-11:30am (Opener) and Evening 3:00 pm-6:30 pm (Closer) team members. In this vital role, you will help create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children, ensuring smooth transitions at the start and end of each day. Whether opening the facility or closing out the day, your enthusiasm and attention to detail will foster positive experiences for young participants. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working flexible hours that fit your schedule. Consistency is key even within our part time roles. You will be relied upon to either open/close the school and relieve teachers for the day. Responsibilities Welcome children, parents, and staff warmly at the start of the day or evening, establishing a positive atmosphere. Supervise children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Manage classroom or activity areas efficiently, maintaining organization and cleanliness. Follow established safety protocols, including first aid procedures, CPR, AED operation, and behavior management strategies. Assist with setting up or cleaning up activity spaces, ensuring readiness for upcoming programs or closing procedures. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate daily tasks and address any concerns promptly. Support youth development initiatives by facilitating age-appropriate activities and fostering inclusive participation. Skills Experience working with children in educational, childcare, camp, or youth program settings. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to maintain order and promote positive behavior. Knowledge of first aid protocols, CPR certification, AED operation, and emergency response procedures. Ability to supervise children outdoors and indoors while ensuring safety at all times. Pay:
