The Opportunity As an Assistant Manager, you will be a hands-on leader who helps run the shop day-to-day, sets the tone for outstanding guest service, and supports the growth and development of your team. You will play a key role in keeping operations smooth, guests happy, and the team engaged. This role is a strong step toward becoming a Shop Manager, offering paid leadership training, real responsibility, and the chance to make a visible impact on your shop's performance and culture. What You'll Do Lead, coach, and support scoopers and shift leads during busy shifts and day-to-day operations. Oversee core shop operations, including cash handling, inventory checks, scheduling, and opening/closing procedures. Model legendary guest service and train your team to deliver friendly, fast, and consistent experiences. Help your team grow by giving feedback, recognizing great work, and fostering a positive, accountable culture. Support community events, in-store promotions, and shop goals while stepping in for the Shop Manager when needed. What Success Looks Like Within the first few months, you confidently run shifts, handle opens and closes, and keep operations on track with minimal oversight. Your team looks to you for support and guidance, and you help maintain strong morale, low turnover, and a collaborative atmosphere. Guest feedback is consistently positive, with strong scores and repeat customers who love coming back. Shop processes—cash control, inventory, and scheduling—are accurate, reliable, and contribute to smooth, efficient shifts. What We're Looking For Leadership or supervisory experience, ideally in food service or retail, with comfort running a busy shift. Clear, positive communication skills and the ability to solve problems calmly and quickly. Reliability, a strong sense of responsibility, and a positive attitude that lifts the team. A genuine drive to learn, grow, and help others develop their skills and confidence. Compensation and Benefits $20-24 per hour (including tips).
