Description Supervisors are certified technicians, responsible for overseeing teammates and ensuring that all services are performed to Jiffy Lube's highest standards. In addition to performing Jiffy Lube Signature Oil Change, Supervisors are responsible for routine preventative maintenance, vehicle testing, diagnosis, and repair. Supervisor's set an example as a leader, focusing on the career development of teammates, and provide consistent guidance and direction. These are our resident experts who ensure quality workmanship to get our guests back on the road. This is an important job in our Jiffy Lube stores and critical to our success. Job duties include, but are not limited to… Performing Jiffy Lubes Signature Service Oil Change
Inspect and service fluids, filters, headlamps, wipers, tire rotations and other minor services…
Flush & fill coolant, transmission, power steering and other vital fluids
Overseeing technicians on the floor to ensure they follow all procedures
Mentoring and coaching all store-level teammates and employee development
Have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, motivated, and a team player Physical Qualifications Supervisors must expect to stand for long periods of time on hard surfaces, like concrete or metal, and expect to work in an environment in which you may frequently experience hot and cold temperatures, loud noises, and exhaust fumes. Other physical qualifications include… Must be able to operate equipment such as overhead and floor mounted oil and grease guns, transmission machine, air conditioner service machine, radiator service machine, hand tools and basic shop equipment
Must be able to lift and move work-related items up to 25 pounds
Must be able to push, pull, lift, and bend at the knees and waist, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, and turn head-neck-shoulders as needed
