Job Description
Convenience Store Manager We are seeking an experienced retail leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of a high-volume convenience store location. This position is responsible for driving operational excellence, maintaining a positive customer experience, leading store personnel, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong leadership skills, and is comfortable balancing customer service, employee development, inventory management, and administrative responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Manage all aspects of daily store operations Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise store team members Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained Monitor inventory levels, ordering, receiving, and merchandising Oversee cash handling procedures, deposits, and financial reporting Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations Address customer concerns and resolve operational issues efficiently Analyze sales trends and implement strategies to improve store performance Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked facility Assist with coverage as needed to support business operations Qualifications Minimum 5 years of retail management experience, preferably in convenience store, fuel station, grocery, or similar high-volume retail environments Experience with POS systems, inventory management software, and back-office reporting systems Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting Proficient with scheduling, payroll review, and operational reporting High school diploma or equivalent required Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Schedule Full-time position Flexible availability required, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Shifts may vary based on business needs Occasional extended shifts may be required Compensation & Benefits Annual salary: $70,000 based on qualifications and experience Paid Time Off (PTO) Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Additional Requirements Successful completion of a background check Ability to reliably commute to the Mesquite, Nevada area Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods
