Category Pharmacy•Pharmacy Manager Job Type Contract A Pharmacy Manager position is available in Oneonta, NY, offering both interim and permanent opportunities. This role requires a licensed pharmacist with strong leadership skills to oversee the entire pharmacy operation and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.

Closed Key Responsibilities:

Register with the state board of pharmacy as a supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge. Maintain compliance with federal, state, board of pharmacy regulations, and company policies. Manage pharmacy operations including budget, payroll, scheduling, inventory, and third-party administration to meet financial goals. Lead pharmacy support personnel, including performance management and training. Ensure all pharmacy staff complete required company training. Participate in business development activities within the store and community. Provide patient-centered services such as immunizations, MTM, and wellness programs. Counsel patients and healthcare providers on drug usage, interactions, and therapy optimization. Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives to safeguard patient safety. Maintain a clean and organized work environment following company standards. Complete continuing education as required by law. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Valid New York State Pharmacist License Immunization Certification with comfort in administering all vaccines (required) Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager (preferred)
