Summary This General Store Manager is responsible for achieving financial targets; analyzing and developing business; implementing strategic company initiatives; building highly motivated teams and strong relationships with the cross functional departments; and overall management of staff. Responsibilities Achieve the store's sales and profit budgets through consistent sales motivation and expense control. Develop a selling culture in the store. Model exemplary selling techniques and customer service. Achieve the store's payroll budget goals through effective staffing and sales productivity. Recruit, train, supervise, and retain store staff. Create and monitor weekly schedule maximizing talent, payroll and store coverage. Ensure that associates are trained in all aspects of their job responsibilities including salesmanship, customer service, clientele, company history, product knowledge, visual merchandising and basic store operations. Identify and train employees for development and growth within the store team and within the retail organization to build back bench for succession planning. Organize regular store meetings to communicate store expectations and priorities to the entire store team. Motivate team to encourage positive work environment fostering friendly and service oriented atmosphere. Develop an action plan to correct negative trends and achieve store goals. Track and ensure that KPI metrics are clearly communicated and achieved. Ensure that sales associates are developing and maintaining long-term clients through the effective use of customer service, client books, store and community events. Ensure that all product presentation is maintained to company standards. Ensure that product transfers, receiving, customer repairs are accounted for with accuracy. Ensure that all visual and merchandising directives are implemented according to company standards. Analyze product sales performance and inventory needs and communicate to supervisor and retail team. Develop local outreach to network within the community to develop customer base to increase sales. Partner with marketing and advertising department to support their initiatives to build customer awareness to increase traffic and sales through communication of marketing strategies. Supervise the enforcement of company cash handling, loss prevention, store funds and deposit procedures. Ensure all administrative responsibilities are completed promptly and accurately. Identify and discuss operational issues and concerns with Regional Manager. Maintain efficient and organized office filing and in-store communication system. Achieve store inventory shrinkage budgets. Regularly utilize store inventory audits to ensure consistent inventory control. Ensure product is replenished and re-stocked into case lines daily and as needed. Utilize maintenance and visual merchandise checklists regularly to ensure store standards are consistently being met. Prepare and send nightly business recap. Qualifications High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred. A minimum of 5 years of related experience Strong organizational, problem solving and customer management skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Basic math skills sufficient to complete orders, calculate inventory and manage transactions Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with cross functional teams Outstanding work ethic with a commitment to achieving targeted objectives Willingness to work days, evenings, weekends, and up to 50 hours per week

$68,000.00 - $73,000.00 plus bonus potential
