Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Used Car Manager to lead our dealership's used car department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail sales and management, with a keen understanding of retail math and the automotive market. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, the ability to drive sales performance, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. As the Used Car Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing inventory management, sales strategies, and team development while ensuring a seamless buying experience for our customers. Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of the used car department, including inventory control and pricing strategies. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve monthly sales targets. Train, mentor, and motivate sales staff to enhance their performance and customer engagement. Analyze market trends and adjust inventory accordingly to maximize profitability. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. Maintain relationships with customers through follow-up communications and support. Utilize software tools for tracking sales performance, inventory management, and customer interactions. Ensure compliance with dealership policies and industry regulations. Requirements Proven experience in retail sales management or dealership operations. Strong understanding of retail math principles and ability to analyze financial data. Excellent communication skills; multilingual abilities are a plus. Proficient in using dealership software and technology for sales support. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also driving individual performance. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Previous experience in outside sales or automotive industry is preferred. A passion for cars and commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
