Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Rental Shop Manager to lead our rental operations with enthusiasm and expertise. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily store activities, manage rental inventory, and ensure exceptional customer service. Your leadership will drive sales, streamline processes, and foster a positive team environment. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering top-notch retail experiences while maintaining efficient operational standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the success of our rental shop through strategic management and outstanding team leadership. This position has the ability to be all year round. Responsibilities Lead and supervise daily store operations, including rental transactions, sales, and customer service interactions Manage inventory control, purchasing, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to optimize product availability and profitability Oversee staff recruitment, training, employee orientation, and ongoing development to build a motivated and knowledgeable team Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling, POS system management, and shift management duties with accuracy and integrity Implement effective merchandising techniques to enhance product presentation and drive sales growth Conduct regular performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and team meetings to promote a high-performance culture Ensure compliance with safety standards, store policies, and operational procedures while fostering a positive customer experience Skills Strong management skills with proven experience in retail store or rental shop leadership roles Excellent communication skills including managerial communication, phone etiquette, and organizational abilities Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and basic math for pricing and financial calculations Demonstrated ability in negotiation, recruiting, interviewing, training & development, and team supervision Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases effectively Knowledge of retail industry sales techniques, merchandising strategies, stock control, and operational management Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining excellent customer service standards Leadership qualities with experience in shift management, sales management, budgeting, and operational oversight Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in bookkeeping, inventory control, and store maintenance Experience in retail sales team management combined with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences Seasonal with option for all Year Round - Salary Commensurate with Experience.
